Hey you guys! I have a new website!!
Bonus: it's also a lot easier to quickly scan through which shirt you want to wear that day without having to dig through a stack of shirts stuffed at random throughout your luggage.
What you need:
- Wrinkly* t-shirt.
- At least one hand. Preferably two. (Sorry, double amputees.)
- A flat surface.
*Okay, fine, the "wrinkly" part is optional. Go easy on me, guys, I am in a foreign country so I can do whatever I want...right??
Step 1: Lay your t-shirt face down on a flat surface of your choice.
I won't bother explaining this step, because hopefully it is self-explanatory. If not, you should probably just assume that this tutorial may be too difficult for you and just give up now.
Step 2: Fold the hem of your t-shirt under.
I usually go for about 2 - 2 1/2 inches, but depending on your shirt, you may want a larger or smaller tuck.
Step 3: Fold your t-shirt in thirds.
It should only be about the width of the collar--about 5-6 inches. Make sure you keep the tucked under part...well...tucked under.
Step 4: Roll up your t-shirt.
You, dear reader, can use two hands instead of one because you don't have to take a picture of it whilst rolling. Or maybe you DO have to take a picture of it, or you only have one hand on account of being an amputee, in which case, one hand will suffice.
Roll the t-shirt starting at the collar and moving toward the tucked under part.
Once it's all rolled up, flip the tucked under part over the rest of the t-shirt, like so:
And voila! Instead of a loose, t-shirty, hot mess in your suitcase, you will now have order and organization beyond your wildest dreams.
It works well with pretty much any type of t-shirt, so you can experiment away to your little heart's content and see what works best for you.
You are welcome for enlightening your medieval packing ways.
